The Ancient Future - Book Review
Anybody that has completed any research into Spiritual Development should have come across Traci Harding. Traci has a great collection of books that introduce you to the possibilities within an action packed storyline. Assessing this book (The Ancient Future) from the point of view of Conscious Life Mastery, means you must take into account that there are 3 books within this particular series. This first book, from the series, takes the reader gently towards some of the initial abilities and concepts. These abilities will be possible, should they dedicate some time towards their Conscious Life Mastery training. The story line has a lot of suspense to keep you reading on and on, I had trouble putting the book down. There are a lot of little Gems that are throughout the book, which are presented very sequentially to build the momentum for Tory (Tory is the main character). These little Gems are equal to the “The light has come on” type of moments. Currently the book is under the classification of Science Fiction and until the movement of people, that are undergoing training in Conscious Life Mastery gain momentum, this series will not be placed into the NON-Fiction category. I say the NON-Fiction category as the timeline portrayed with the storyline is actual the coming Age. When you consider that currently we are entering the 14th Age you can see that there is more to these books then they are being given credit for. One could almost say that the Series should be classified as History books. Their time will come! For this reason I would like to make the point that, when reading this book, you do truly read it and not simply use it to exercise your eyes. As with a lot of books, I have read, I found during my second read, these educational Gems, came to life with my new found knowledge. Within this first book of the series the main character (Tory Alexander) establishes her place in her new environment. Why new, well to find that one out you will have to read the book. I can not give everything away. This process of having to re-establish yourself will happen to anybody that undertakes their journey towards Conscious Life Mastery. It might not be to the same extent as Tory had to but you will find that you will attract new acquaintances as your views of life and yourself change. I found this book is very thought provoking, when you consider that it is the first book in a series and I could not wait for the second book to be in my hands. |
